Qualifications and experience

I have completed the Master of Counselling at Christian Heritage College and am currently doing a PhD at Australian Catholic University. I was doing volunteer prayer ministry and counselling for sixteen years, and moved into counselling professionally six years ago. I have studied theology and have taught psychology, religion and mathematics in high schools and lectured at Christian Heritage College and other tertiary institutes. I have also worked in research and evaluation.

I have life experience as a wife of 38 years, a mother of three sons and a delighted grandmother of four rapidly growing children.

I have accreditation with the Christian Counsellors Association of Australia GraduateĀ  (#17283) as a graduate member, and hold provisional registration with the national registration body PACFA (Psychotherapy and Counsellors Federation of Australia).

I am a practising Christian and my Christian faith informs and influences my practice. However I do not believe it is my place to force my beliefs on to others, and I am committed to respect the values and practices of those with differing beliefs to my own.
